Safe and Sound... and tired!

¡Saludos de Argentina!

I will write more tomorrow (Monday) when I am on the campus of my school and have free internet access. For now, I wanted you all to know that I have arrived, safe and sound. Buenos Aires is BEAUTIFUL, and today, very nice and cool (72 degrees). Two days ago it was 105 degrees, so I am preparing myself!

I have been surprised and pleased by how much my Spanish has come back. I am still working to understand the accent here, and scramble to make the words I remember (increasing by the minute!) fit into a sentence that makes sense. I also find there are moments I do not understand a single word, and then the next moment, I understand everything. No doubt nerves and exhaustion have much to do with that!

Many thanks for your love and prayers. More tomorrow!

Mucho gusto, y amor, tambien.

P.S. While I hate to admit it (luckily, it isn't something I need to do often!), I was wrong! Buenos Aires is NOT on the same time zone as Eastern time. We're two hours ahead here, so when it is 10 a.m. here, it is 8 a.m. in Michigan.
